This policy explains how Bailey & Coco handles personal information about customers and visitors in Australia who use our website, buy from us or sign up for our emails. It is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Who we are
Bailey & Coco is a trading name of B & C Brands Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14681839). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean B & C Brands Limited.
We are based in the United Kingdom and sell to customers in Australia online. You can contact us about privacy at support@baileyandcoco.co.uk.
2. The personal information we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses.
- Order details: what you buy, prices paid, delivery method, delivery tracking, returns and refunds.
- Payment information: we do not see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment providers, who give us limited information, such as the payment method used and whether the payment was approved.
- Personalisation details: for example a name or text you ask us to engrave or embroider on a product.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login email address, saved addresses and order history.
- Messages: emails and other messages you send us, and our replies.
- Marketing records: whether you agreed to receive our emails, when and how you agreed, whether you have unsubscribed, and how you interact with our emails (for example, which emails you open and which links you click).
- Reviews: if you leave a review, your name, your review and any photos or videos you add.
- Website and device information: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, items you add to your basket or wishlist, and how you reached our website. This is collected through cookies and similar tools (see section 6).
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health information. Please do not send it to us.
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. To place an order, we need your name, contact details and delivery address.
3. How we collect it
- From you: when you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails (for example through our spin-the-wheel welcome offer), leave a review or contact us.
- Automatically: when you use our website or open and click our emails, through cookies, pixels and similar tools.
- From our service providers: for example delivery updates from carriers and payment results from payment providers.
4. Why we use it
- To process, pack and deliver your order, including delivery labels and any customs paperwork.
- To take payment and help prevent fraud.
- To handle returns, refunds and questions, and to meet our obligations to you, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
- To run your account, if you have one.
- To send you marketing emails, but only if you have agreed (see section 5).
- To ask you to review your order, and to show reviews on our website.
- To understand how our website is used and to improve it.
- To measure and show our advertising, including on social media and search engines (see section 6).
- To keep accounting and tax records and meet our other legal obligations.
We do not use computer programs to make decisions about you that significantly affect your rights or interests. Our payment providers carry out automated fraud checks on payments, which can lead to a payment being declined.
5. Marketing emails
We send marketing emails to customers in Australia only if you have agreed to receive them. Every marketing email identifies Bailey & Coco (B & C Brands Limited), tells you how to contact us and includes an unsubscribe link. We act on unsubscribe requests within 5 business days.
When you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your email address and your choice so that we do not send you marketing again. You will still receive service emails about your orders, such as order confirmations and delivery updates.
If we ever offer marketing text messages, we will ask for your separate agreement first.
6. Cookies, pixels and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar tools. Some are needed for the website to work, for example to keep items in your basket and to complete checkout. Others help us understand how the website is used, and measure and personalise our advertising. The tools on our website include:
- Shopify, the platform our shop runs on, including its own analytics;
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads;
- the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram);
- the TikTok pixel;
- the Pinterest tag;
- Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how pages are used, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movements;
- Triple Whale, which helps us measure which marketing leads to sales;
- Klaviyo, which links website activity to our emails, for example a reminder about items you looked at if you have subscribed;
- Loox and Trustpilot (reviews), Wheelio (our spin-the-wheel sign-up) and our wishlist tools.
Advertising platforms may combine information collected through these tools with information they already hold, to show you our adverts on other websites and apps and to measure how well they work. If you give us your email address or phone number, we may share it with advertising platforms in a coded (hashed) form so that they can measure our adverts.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of our website may then not work properly. You can also manage advertising choices in your Google, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest account settings.
7. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the following, and only as needed for the purposes in section 4:
- Shopify, which runs our online shop, checkout and customer accounts, and processes card payments through Shopify Payments;
- the payment provider you choose at checkout;
- our order and dispatch system, which is run for us by a contractor, and Royal Mail, which carries parcels from the United Kingdom and passes them to its delivery partner in Australia;
- customs authorities, where an order needs a customs declaration;
- Klaviyo (emails) and Wheelio (our spin-the-wheel sign-up);
- Loox and Trustpilot (review requests and reviews);
- Smile.io (our loyalty programme) and our wishlist providers, Swym and Swish, which may receive order or browsing information from our shop;
- the analytics and advertising providers listed in section 6;
- our email hosting provider, for messages you send us;
- our accounting software providers (Xero and A2X) and our accountants;
- professional advisers, and courts, regulators or other authorities where the law requires it.
Our service providers may use their own subcontractors to provide their services to us.
8. Sending information overseas
We are based in the United Kingdom, so personal information you give us is sent to and held in the United Kingdom. Our service providers also store or process it in other countries.
The countries where these recipients are likely to be located are the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and countries in the European Union (including Slovenia). Some providers or their subcontractors may also process information in other countries.
9. How we keep it safe
Your information is held in the systems of established service providers. Access to our shop's administration requires two-step sign-in, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is completely secure. If you think your information has been misused, please contact us straight away.
10. How long we keep it
- Order, payment and accounting records: for as long as UK tax law requires, generally six years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed.
- Marketing: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only the record needed to make sure we do not email you marketing again.
- Everything else: only for as long as we need it for the purposes in section 4. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
11. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing support@baileyandcoco.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 30 days and we do not charge for this. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why and how you can complain.
You can also ask us to delete your information. We will do so unless we need to keep it, for example for tax records.
12. Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please email support@baileyandcoco.co.uk with the details. We will look into it and reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, or we have not replied within 30 days, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

I recently bought the Sage Green Large Dog Harness from Bailey & Coco for my Labrador, and we absolutely love it! Was trying to find a more padded & supportive harness for my Cooper. Then found this website & on reading the reviews chose to order the harness, collar & dickie bow tie. We followed the sizing guidelines & ordered a small as recommended. We had to do a bit of adjusting to get the straps just right but how handsome does he look? Lovely harness, Rocky loves it. I bought it as his last harness was too big and he kept getting out of it and i bought this hoping he wouldn’t be able to get out of it however he has been able to a couple of times (naughty boy) but since tighting it as much as it can hopefully he can’t do it anymore.

Maisy struggles with an over the head harness. Found the perfect solution, no more struggling and she is happy for her harness to go on. Nicely padded and suitable for an active cocker spaniel puppy. I washed the harness by hand and it’s back to its new condition.

We waited for a few weeks before leaving a review, as we wanted to be 100% sure about what we thought. Dylan is a 1 year old 52kg Bernese Mountain Dog, who decided he did not like his overhead harness. We reached out to a few companies to ask about their options and felt we were provided a good amount of information and took the plunge. This harness has been PERFECT. So easy to get on and off! He no longer hides in the corner, and the sizing is exactly as described. We have a car ramp, and the handle makes it so easy to guide Dylan in and out the car. It's very strong and sturdy and one of our favourite features! After a few weeks of use there is no damage to any of the seams or any signs of wear or tear. Really easy to clean and use, and we genuinely love the product!
Love this harness. The print just pops! My pooch hates anything going over her head so ideal this has the 3 point buckles. Have had many compliments while out her walkies.
