How much does the set save me?

Bought separately the harness is £40 and the 5ft lead is £18, so £58 in total. The set is £48, which saves you £10 and means the two pieces arrive in the same tweed rather than being ordered separately and hoping they match.

Which size should I choose?

The size you pick applies to the harness, since the 5ft lead is one length for every dog. Measure the widest part of your dog’s chest just behind the front legs and the base of the neck, then use the guide below. If your dog sits between two sizes, take the larger one.

Do I still have to pull it over my dog’s head?

No. The harness fastens with a lockable clasp at the neck, so it opens out and wraps around instead of going overhead. It also has a handle across the back for close control and reflective strips front and back for darker walks, while the lead pairs a heavy-duty clip with a padded neoprene handle.
