Dog Lead 5ft - Colour Drops - Plum Tweed

Plum Tweed 5ft Dog Lead

Our Plum Tweed 5ft dog lead matches the rest of the collection, with a padded neoprene handle for comfortable everyday walks.

• Plum Tweed
• Padded neoprene handle for added comfort
• Lockable Gold Heavy-Duty clip
• Additional D ring, perfect for attaching poo bag holders (matching patterns available)
• Available in 5ft length

How long is a 5ft dog lead in practice?

Five feet is roughly 152cm, the standard everyday walking length in the UK. It gives your dog enough room to sniff and move naturally on a pavement or trail, while staying short enough to keep them close and under control near roads, other dogs and people.

What is the second D-ring for?

The extra D-ring sits just below the handle and carries accessories, most often a poo bag holder, so you are not holding anything in your free hand. Our matching Plum Tweed poo bag holder clips straight onto it, as does a treat pouch or keys.

Is the clip strong enough for a big dog?

Yes. The lead uses a heavy-duty lockable gold clip rather than a standard trigger hook, so it cannot be nudged open in use. The padded neoprene handle spreads the load across your hand, which makes a noticeable difference on a longer walk with a stronger dog.

** Please note ** Even though we strive for perfection, even our dog accessories are subject to wear and tear. It is therefore the responsibility of the owner to keep an eye on the condition to make sure it is safe for their pooch to wear, in order to keep them 100 Pawcent safe at all times.
